Greatest trailer or greatest trailer ever? I'm going to spend my foreseeable future watching this on repeat.

JJ Abrams and the crew over at Lucasfilm appear to have created a film that's going to blow everyone away. This trailer does a great job setting up the new trio of characters — Daisy Ridley's Rey, John Boyega's Finn and Adam Driver's Kylo Ren — while also spinning Han Solo, Chewbacca and Leia into the mix.

Kylo Ren is going to steal this movie. I already have him as a LEGO minifigure, a regular action figure, a Black Series figure and two Funko Pop figures, and somehow this trailer only makes me want to see more of the character. The three shots that really standout to me were Kylo at the bridge of his ship talking to Vader's melted helmet, him using the Force to torture Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron and then him in the rain with his fellow Knights of Ren.

It's interesting to see how the new era of Star Wars has chosen to treat the Force and everything that comes with it — Jedi, Sith, the Dark Side — as myths and legends instead of having Luke Skywalker restore the Jedi Order as he did in the old Expanded Universe. Hard to not get chills hearing Han Solo talk about those stories being true.

I already have my tickets for the first available Thursday night showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens ... and a ticket for the next day. After watching this trailer, I think I'm going to need a few more tickets.
