'The Big Bang Theory' Star Melissa Rauch Gets a 'Maxim' Photoshoot

I never thought I'd say that someone involved with The Big Bang Theory should win an award, but whoever's in charge of frumpifying* Melissa Rauch deserves an Emmy. Rauch plays the nerdy Bernadette on CBS's ratings juggernaut, but she's usually dressed very conservatively while playing that character.

Rauch shows off another side in a recent Maxim photoshoot, donning some S&M flavored gear, which I'm pretty sure is the complete opposite of what she normally wears on The Big Bang Theory. (I'm totally sure on that one — I'd have to watch The Big Bang Theory to give you a definitive answer there.)

I shouldn't be too surprised at Rauch's appearance in Maxim. Back in September, the actress was on Conan, and, if you didn't know who she was, you would've never guessed that she was Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory.

*Frumpyifying: The act of making someone look frumpy.
