TRAILER: Thor, 'Hunger Games' Kid, Josh Without Drake and Tom Cruise's Son Will Save America from North Korea in 'Red Dawn'
In unnecessary remake news, the first trailer for the updated version of Red Dawn hit the Internet this past week, giving us a look at the movie that has been repeatedly delayed over the past three years.
Starring Chris Hemsworth (Thor himself), Josh Hutcherson (the kid who's not Hemsworth's brother in The Hunger Games), Josh Peck (of Drake and Josh fame), Connor Cruise (Tom Cruise's son), Adrianne Palicki (almost TV's Wonder Woman), Isabel Lucas (the Decepticon that Shia LaBeouf made out with) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen's Comedian), the new Red Dawn was originally going to tell the story of a Chinese invasion of America. After everyone realized that alienating the world's biggest market was a poor move, the movie swapped North Korea in as the villain, regardless of the fact that the idea of North Korea staging an occupation of America is ridiculous. MGM's financial woes also shelved Red Dawn for a bit, but it looks like we'll all finally get to see the movie.
Yay ...
