Ashley Tisdale Joins Nicholas Cage's Version of 'Left Behind' (Yes, They're Remaking the Kirk Cameron Movies)

Left Behind is a series of popular novels dealing with the End Times and the people who were, well, left behind during the Rapture. The series was turned into several low-budget movies starring Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron. Taking all of that into account, it only makes sense that a big-studio version of Left Behind is in the works and that it will star Nicholas Cage. I'm guessing they'll work stealing the Declaration of Independence into the End Times somehow.

Any movie about the end of days absolutely needs a Disney star, which leads us to the news that High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has signed on for Left Behind. According to a Deadline report, Tisdale will play the daughter of Cage's character. Left Behind doesn't have a release date yet, but you should probably start standing in line for tickets now.
