Chloe Grace Moretz' 'Carrie' Remake Gets Pushed Back to October but Still Gets a New Poster

Well, this is an odd one. In one swoop, Sony has pushed back its Carrie remake starring Chloe Grace Moretz to Oct. 18, 2013, and released a new poster for the movie. The interesting part? The new poster still has Carrie's original March 15, 2013, release date on it. You'd think that Sony would've made sure new promotional materials for the movie would sync up with the October release date.

No word on why Sony pushed Carrie back seven months, but the new release date is just two weeks before Halloween. It'll be nice to have something besides Saw and Paranormal Activity sequels around that time this year.
