What Football Game? Kate Upton and Bar Refaeli Will Appear in Super Bowl Commercials

With the Buffalo Bills shockingly out of contention, I haven't really been paying attention to upcoming Super Bowl lately. In fact, it wasn't even until today that I realized that Super Bowl XLVII is less than a month away. The news that both Kate Upton and Bar Refaeli will appear in Super Bowl commercials has me well aware of when the Super Bowl is now.

USA Today reports that Upton will appear in a spot for Mercedes-Benz while Refaeli will become the latest Go Daddy girl. The catch is that both Mercedes-Benz and Go Daddy plan on keeping things classy this year.

But neither of the hotter-than-hot models will appear in racy attire. In fact, both will appear in formal dresses — as plans are right now. Even as Super Bowl marketers are reaching out to the world's most beautiful models, some appear to be evolving away from ultra-racy imagery.

I can understand why Mercedes-Benz won't have Upton "on the hood of a car in a bikini." That's not their brand (and, c'mon, the supermodel's done that already). Go Daddy, though? What else do they have besides their racy commercials? I bet more people know Danica Patrick from the Go Daddy commercials than they do from her racing career.

We'll have to wait until Sunday, Feb. 3 to see what Mercedes-Benz, Go Daddy and a ton of other companies have in store for us with their Super Bowl commercials.
