Check Out Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin in New 'Iron Man 3' Poster

I'm not as familiar with The Mandarin as I am with a lot of other Marvel villains, but I'm going to guess that when the studio talked about interpreting the character differently for Iron Man 3, this poster is exactly what they were talking about. Yeah, Ben Kingsley has the character's robes and topknot going on, but Marvel isn't trying to pull a Cloud Atlas and make the actor look Asian, and I'm pretty sure that the slouch-and-sunglasses pose isn't a traditional trait for The Mandarin.

I heard reports that Kingsley received a standing ovation after he completed shooting his scenes for Iron Man 3, which has to bode well for the film, right? Check out the new Iron Man 3 poster for yourself after the jump.
