'Silver Linings Playbook' Duo Jennifer Lawrence and David O. Russell Team Again (Will Probably Win More Oscars)

You probably haven't heard of a movie that's in production by the name of The Ends of the Earth. When it finally hits theaters, you're probably going to hear about it. A lot. That's what's bound to happen when you put together a movie that stars Jennifer Lawrence, is directed by David O. Russell and is written by Chris Terrio.

Let's examine those names for a second. Lawrence, the favorite to win the Oscar for Best Actress this Sunday for Silver Linings Playbook, is already the youngest actress to ever be twice nominated for Best Actress by the Academy. Russell's past two movies, The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook, have earned him Best Director nominations. (The director just came aboard this project on Tuesday.) And Terrio just happens to be the screenwriter who adapted Argo and is currently nominated for a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar. Not too shabby a group of individuals, huh?

The Ends of the Earth doesn't have a release date yet, but Russell will probably tackle it after he completes his next project, a movie that was formerly titled American Bullshit, and stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams and ... oh ... Lawrence. Has Lawrence become the Leonardo DiCaprio (or Robert De Niro, for you old-school movie fans) to Russell's Martin Scorsese?
