Your Guide to Justin Timberlake Hosting 'Saturday Night Live' Tomorrow

Justin Timberlake will host Saturday Night Live this Saturday while pulling double duty as the musical guest. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming episode.

Has Timberlake hosted SNL before?
Yup. This is his fifth time.

What do we know Timberlake from?
Everything? Since becoming famous as a member of *NSYNC (yes, a 1990s boy band), Timberlake has used that platform to launch a career that has spanned all aspects of pop culture. As a musical artist, Timberlake released two hit albums, but then disappeared from the musical scene for seven years. His return to SNL aligns with his return to the musical scene, as Timberlake will release a new album on March 19.

While he was away from music, Timberlake focused on his acting career, appearing in films like Bad Teacher and Trouble With the Curve. While it was one of his first roles, Timberlake's biggest role was probably as Sean Parker in The Social Network, a part that earned him Oscar buzz.

And if you somehow didn't know Timberlake from any of that, you probably know him from the past four times he hosted SNL. Timberlake's SNL hosting gigs have given us iconic pop culture moments like the Dick in a Box and Motherlover Digital Shorts.

Anything we should expect from this episode?
In the past, it was easy to figure out what a Timberlake-hosted episode of SNL would have: A new Digital Short, a visit with the Target Lady and an episode of The Barry Gibbs Talk Show. Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig and Jimmy Fallon, all Timberlake partners in crime, are now gone from SNL. Can Timberlake convince any of them to return for his episode? Well, if Samberg and the Lonely Island crew hadn't just made a return for Adam Levine's episode, I would say there would be a good chance that we'd get a new Digital Short. With that Digital Short happenign only a few weeks ago, I'm not sure what the odds of another Dick in a Box sequel are. Politically, I think we'll get our first look at who SNL will have play Rand Paul thanks to the senator's filibuster on Wednesday. Will SNL also defend Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, two of its own, against Taylor Swift's attacks?
