FIRST LOOK: Meryl Streep as The Witch in Rob Marshall's 'Into the Woods'

If you grew up doing any kind of musical theater (or, if you're like me and had siblings who did), you've heard of Into the Woods. The musical was launched in 1987 by Stephen Sondheim with Bernadette Peters stealing the show as The Witch.

There's a cinematic adaption of Into the Woods in the works, with Chicago director Rob Marshall at the helm. He's brought in some big names for the movie, with Meryl Streep playing The Witch and Emily Blunt playing the Baker's Wife. Anna Kendrick, Johnny Depp and Chris Pine are also a few other well-known actors and actresses on board.

On Friday, Walt Disney Pictures released the first official pic from the film, revealing Streep in her The Witch makeup. Head past the jump to check out the full picture.
