Did We Just Become Best Friends? Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly Reteam for 'Devil's Night'
The Step Brothers band is getting back together. TheWrap reports that Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly will star in Devil's Night, playing friends who bonded over the night-before-Halloween holiday.
Devil's Night doesn't have a targeted release date yet, but this makes me wonder what the status is with a Step Brothers sequel. Ferrell, Reilly and producer/director Adam McKay have talked about the possibility that we could someday see Brennan Huff and Dale Doback return, but there hasn't been much news on that front lately.
As Halloween purists may have guessed, “Devil’s Night” is set on October 30, when the real mischief and debauchery goes down. The unofficial holiday made Leonard and Gabe best friends as children, though it would eventually be responsible for tearing them apart. 15 years later, with Devil’s Night growing out of control, they must put their differences aside and reunite to save their neighborhood from utter destruction.
