'SNL' PROMOS: Lady Gaga and Kenan Thompson Save Tinkerbell and Get Sick

Call me crazy, but I think Lady Gaga is going to be one of this season's best Saturday Night Live hosts. Sure, she's weird and thrives on faux controversy, but underneath those wigs and layers of rotting meat, there seems to be a genuinely creative and even funny woman. When it comes to SNL, that's a good thing.

NBC released a series of promos for Gaga's episode. Paired up with Kenan Thompson, Gaga jokes about Lady Gaga not being her real name, judges Thompson's meat watch and helps keep Tinkerbell alive with her applause.

This will be Gaga's first time hosting SNL and her second time appearing as the musical guest. Last time she was on SNL, she appeared in Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's The Golden Rule (3-Way) — any chance those guys come back to help her with a short?
