Eva Green Creates a God in Latest '300: Rise of an Empire' Trailer

It's hard to tell if 300: Rise of an Empire is going to be any good. It may be a sequel/prequel/sidequel to Zack Snyder's 300, but don't let the promotional materials for the upcoming movie fool you — Snyder is just a producer, which probably means he has little to do with 300: Rise of an Empire. From what we've seen in trailers for this movie, Noam Murro seems to have replicated Snyder's visual aesthetic, but will that be enough?

A new trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire hit the Internet on Monday, and it actually seems pretty good. Set to Black Sabbath's "War Pigs," the trailer is heavy on action while also revealing that Eva Green's character is the driving force between Rodrigo Santoro's Xerxes.

300: Rise of an Empire opens on March 7.
