Mystique's Got a Gun: Check Out 4 New 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Pics

With January almost over, we're just months away from an extremely busy (but not as busy as 2015) summer of 2014. Out of all the potential blockbusters coming up, X-Men: Days of Future Past might be the biggest. With Bryan Singer back in the director's chair and the casts of the original X-Men trilogy and X-Men: First Class coming together, X-Men: Days of Future Past could be the most ambitious superhero movie ever.

On Wednesday, Empire magazine unveiled four new pics from the movie. It looks like two of the pics are from the past, with Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique pointing a gun at someone and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine checking out the fact that he once again has bone claws. The other two pics appears to be from the future, with Ian McKellan's Magneto hovering in the air and a group of X-Men, including Ellen Page's Kitty Pryde and Shawn Ashmore's Iceman, hanging around.

X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on May 23.
