Woohoo! Lego Reveals 'The Simpsons' Minifigures
Want to get your hands on some Lego minifigures based on The Simpsons but don't want to shell out several hundred dollars for that Simpsons house that was unveiled a few months ago? You're in luck since Lego officially unveiled the upcoming The Simpsons series of Lego minifigures on Wednesday.
The Simpsons series of Lego minifigs includes Itchy with a bat, Krusty with a pie, Milhouse with a comic book, Marge with a magazine, Apu with a Squishee, Chief Wiggum with a bat and megaphone, Ralph Wiggum with his "I Choo Choo Choose You" Valentine's Day card, Grampa Simpson with a newspaper, Scratchy with an ax, Nelson with a bat, Lisa with a saxophone, Homer with a donut and remote control, Bart with his skateboard, Mr. Burns with a radioactive rod and Blinky the fish, Maggie with her teddy bear and Ned Flanders with his "I (Heart) South Paws" mug and a toolbox.
The series of 16 minifigs will be available in May and sell for $3.99 a piece. Longtime Lego minifigure collectors will know that this price is a dollar more per minifigure than usual.
If you're not familiar with the Lego collectible minifigures program, every few months, Lego releases a series of 16 new minifigs. They're sold in blind bags, so you can't just go to the store and decide to buy a specific minifigure. You either accept the random draw or get really good at figuring out which minifigure is in a bag based on feel.
