3 New Character Posters for 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

When Marvel Studios announced Guardians of the Galaxy two Comic-Cons ago, the average moviegoer had no idea what the franchise was about or who its characters were. Going into Comic-Con 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy is everywhere. With the movie just weeks from opening, Marvel has succeeded in flooding the pop culture scene with Guardians of the Galaxy. With the movie tracking for an opening weekend somewhere in the $70 million range, Marvel has transformed an unknown franchise into the next blockbuster.

Director James Gunn unveiled three new posters for Guardians of the Galaxy on Wednesday. The character posters feature Michael Rooker as Yondu, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and John C. Reilly and Rhomann Dey.
