Jason Sudeikis Not Leaving 'SNL'?

The New York Daily News reported today that Jason Sudeikis was reconsidering leaving Saturday Night Live. Now, this is the New York Daily News, so let's take this with a grain of salt. That said, if true, this news doesn't surprise me. Based on Sudeikis' lack of a farewell during the season finale of SNL and his awkward behavior during Kristen Wiig's goodbye, there was a lot of talk that Sudeikis either wasn't leaving or just hadn't made up his mind yet.
A source who attended an extremely late “after-after-party” for “SNL” in the Ace Hotel overheard Sudeikis admit as much.
According to the insider, Sudeikis, who joined the show in 2003 as a writer and become an on-air staple in 2005, told a group of revelers (including his “very affectionate” girlfriend, Olivia Wilde) that “he wasn’t sure about staying or leaving.”
The Daily News article also goes on to say that Sudeikis wasn't happy with Lorne Michaels' decision to give Wiig such an extravagant farewell.

One NBC source tells us that the water-cooler talk at the TV net’s 30 Rock headquarters on Monday was that Sudeikis, who had been on-air as long as Wiig, was betraying some anger. He’s said to be upset about “SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels’ decision “to single out Kristen” for praise.
“They’ve never done anything like that for anyone,” says the source, who adds, “There’s always a first time — but they should have been fair to Jason and Andy.”
It sounds like my article breaking down Sudeikis' finale was on to something. I had guessed that Sudeikis was leaving and just emotional about it, wasn't actually leaving or was leaving and was unhappy with Michaels. Looks like the truth lies somewhere in between all three of those guesses.
