He may not be Spider-Man, but Donald Donald Glover made it into the 'Spider-Man' reboot anyways

Before Andrew Garfield was cast in the Spider-Man reboot, there was a pretty serious online/social media campaign to get Community star Donald Glover selected as the next webslinger. Glover himself even got involved in the campaign, added a bunch of #donaldforspiderman tweets to the mix.

Apparently, Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb is a fan of Glover's, as Glover has revealed that Webb asked him for permission to use his image in Peter Parker's bedroom to reflect some of Parker's "musical or television taste." Does this mean we're going to see a Childish Gambino album lying on Spider-Man's desk to his webshooters?
