Carly Rae Jepsen Joins Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to Sing 'Call Me Maybe'

If you've somehow managed to avoid hearing Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe yet, the time has come for you to break that streak. Jepsen was the musical guest on Thursday's episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and while she did perform her summer hit at the end of the show, the singer joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots prior to the show for an alternative performance.

I love this video. The vibe completely reminds of Saturday Night Live's I Wish It Were Christmas Today, especially at the beginning when its just Jepsen singing and Fallon and The Roots are kind of hanging out around her. I don't think there's another late-night host having more fun right now than Jimmy Fallon.



As a daily watcher of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, I'm disappointed they didn't include this in the episode. Just like Jason Schwartzman and Little Pepper earlier in the week, Fallon and The Roots joining in to sing Call Me Maybe is right up Late Night's ally.
