The AT&T of TV Networks: NBC Delay's 'Community's' Return to Undetermined Date
Damn it, NBC, why do you hate Community so much? After delaying Community's midseason return last season, firing show creator Dan Harmon, giving the show a short fourth season order, banishing Community to Fridays and then delaying this season's premiere, NBC has once again delayed Community's return to TV. The Hollywood Reporter breaks the news:
The network on Monday pushed the fourth season premiere of the Joel McHale comedy -- as well as sophomore comedy Whitney -- from their original Oct. 19 airdate to a date to be determined. A source confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that the delay is intended to allow for additional time for both series to receive an additional marketing push.Additional marketing push? Maybe you should have tried actually promoting the show during its first three seasons, NBC. How hard would that have been? Instead, you've chased away the mastermind behind the Community, alienated the show's fans and now it looks like you could care less about when the show actually airs again. Great work. You've Britta'd this beyond saving now. I hate you SO much, NBC.
