Fee. Fye. Foe. Fumm. Fallon? 'Jack the Giant Slayer' Gets a Bunch of Posters

Warner Bros. has been working on a film called Jack the Giant Slayer for awhile now. It hasn't been a smooth process, though. Up until a couple months ago, it was called Jack the Giant Killer. The studio even moved the movie from June 15, 2012, to March 1, 2013.

I'm not sure what to make of Jack the Giant Slayer, since despite getting retitled and moved around, the film has an impressive behind-the-scenes team working on it, with Bryan Singer directing and Christopher McQuarrie having a hand in the screenplay. Singer's a household name after directing the first two X-Men films and Superman Returns, and the director is returning to the X-Men universe with the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. You may not know McQuarrie by name, but you probably know his work, as he won a Best Original Screenplay Oscar in 1996 for The Usual Suspects and most recently directed Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher.

With March 1 quickly approaching, Warner Bros. is revving up the promotions machine for Jack the Giant Slayer, releasing five new posters for the movie on Thursday. The posters feature several giants, with the assumption that four of them are named Fee, Fye, Foe and Fumm (get it?). The fifth poster has a two-headed giant named Fallon on it. No work on whether or not The Roots get their own giants too.

The movie stars Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy and Ewan McGregor. Check out all five posters for Jack the Giant Slayer after the jump.
