Despite starring in Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke could probably go walking down a crowded street without getting recognized. That's the benefit of the platinum blonde wig the actress wears on the HBO show when she portrays Daenerys Targaryen.

As Game of Thrones' popularity continues to grow, it's going to be harder and harder for Clarke to remain incognito. The actress' new photoshoot in GQ probably won't help her fly under the radar either.

"It takes a die-hard fan to actually spot me," Clarke told GQ. "These HBO events, where I'll be talking to someone for a fair amount of time, and then suddenly they're like, Oh shit! That's what you do! — they think I'm some crazy Brit who snuck her way into a Hollywood party."
