Welcome, Lindsay Campbell: 'Popculturology' Adds a New Contributing Writer

As we wrapped up 2013, Popculturology made a few resolutions for the new year, with one of those resolutions being to add a female voice to the site. We're really good at covering superhero movies and Kate Upton videos, but there's more to the world of pop culture than just that. If Popculturology really wants to serve a diverse audience, we need to make sure the writers working on the site reflect that audience.

I'm proud to announce that Lindsay Campbell will be joining the site as a contributing writer. While her addition to the team checks off that "female voice" box, that's really just an added bonus. Like the rest of the Popculturology team, Lindsay loves pop culture. Don't believe me? Check out her bio:

Despite living in the digital era, Lindsay Campbell likes to keep things old school. She still finds herself buying print issues of Entertainment Weekly and Vanity Fair to catch up on her close "friends" in Hollywood. Her roommates tease her when she comes home with actual DVDs, but she can’t help but fuel her addiction of watching movies with the commentary on. 

Lindsay is also a major fan of all things Saturday Night Live, which can probably be attributed to the moment her dad bought her the DVD Saturday Night Live: Best of Gilda Radner. Ever since popping that DVD in, her lifelong goal has been to stand in Studio 8H and host SNL ... and attend the after party. When Lindsay's not driving her friends crazy with random behind-the-scenes facts about movies and sitcoms, she's most likely wandering around New York City looking for celebrities, checking out how long the SNL stand-by line is and adding movies to her Netflix and Amazon queues.
