1906: The Wright brothers patent their "flying machine." It is not associated with the Flying Spaghetti Monster ... or was it?
1942: Ted Williams enlists in the U.S. Marine Corps.
1980: Namco releases Pac-Man. It was originally called Puck-Man, but you just know someone would've vandalized that.
1990: Windows 3.0 is released. Go ask your grandparents what Windows was.
1992: Johnny Carson hosts The Tonight Show for the last time. Jay Leno would host for the next 600 years.
