Disney Schedules Two Mystery Marvel Movies

On Thursday, Disney announced a bunch of new and revised dates for upcoming projects. The most interesting news was that studio called dibs on May 6, 2016, and May 5, 2017 for untitled Marvel movies. With The Avengers 2 scheduled for May 1, 2015, and Ant-Man scheduled for Nov. 6, 2015, we're all out announced Marvel Cinematic Universe movies for those dates. You know what this means, right? It's time to play Guess What Projects Marvel Is Secretly Working On.

Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has mentioned that Doctor Strange is on the studios radar, so that's probably a good guess for one of those dates. When it comes to other non-sequel franchises that Marvel could launch, Black Panther is an obvious choice. In the comics, Black Bolt and the Inhumans are about to get a big push. With the news that John C. Reilly is officially on board for Guardians of the Galaxy, could Marvel be plotting an expansion of the Nova Corps?

The crazy part about these mystery projects is that while Marvel is busy claiming dates years from now, Warner Bros. has nothing officially announced after Man of Steel.

Head past the jump for the latest of Brad Bird's Tomorrowland and the Tom Hanks-as-Walt Disney Saving Mr. Banks.

Tomorrowland moves from Dec. 19, 2014, to Dec. 12, 2014.
Into the Woods has been announced for Dec. 25, 2014.
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has been announced for Oct. 10, 2014.
Saving Mr. Banks moves from Dec. 20, 2013, to Dec. 13, 2013.
