TRAILER: Matt Damon Goes Machine to Invade 'Elysium'

Neill Blomkamp's District 9 stands as one of the most original and exciting films of the past decade, with the project launching the director to stardom. Blomkamp has spent the past few years working on Elysium, his follow-up film, and with that movie finally hitting theaters on Aug. 9, 2013, it's no surprise that the promotional push is pickup up.

A new trailer for Elysium debuted on Thursday, expanding on what the film's first trailer showed moviegoers back in April. Matt Damon plays a dying man who decides to break into Elysium, the space station for Earth's elite, in order to find a cure. Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley also star.
