Scarlett Johansson Won't Play Hillary Clinton in 'Rodham' Either

It looks like that list of actresses who were the favorite to play Hillary Clinton in Rodham has taken another hit. According to the Huffington Post, Scarlett Johansson has also debunked the rumors that she was in the running to play Clinton.

"Scarlett has never been asked to do this film," a representative for the actress told HuffPost Entertainment. "She hasn't been approached about it nor seen a script.D It's a total fabrication."

"A total fabrication." Despite some so-called experts putting together a list that included Johansson, Jessica Chastain (who also debunked the rumors), Reese Witherspoon and Amanda Seyfried, I never for a second believed that list knew what it was talking about. So far the only actress who has been confirmed to have received an offer is Carey Mulligan, and she turned down the offer. Once again, I have to mention that Mulligan was on Popculturology's list of actresses who could play Clinton in Rodham. Mark my words — Witherspoon or Seyfried won't be playing Clinton.

For everyone who wanted to see Johansson play Clinton, just remember that if the actress did win the role, it would have killed our chances of seeing the former first lady and secretary of state in Avengers sequel. C'mon, Johansson can't play the Black Widow and Hillary Clinton.
