'Athens Will Burn!' Xerex Is on the Rampage in New '300: Rise of an Empire' Poster

We're still months away from 300: Rise of an Empire hitting theaters, but Warner Bros. is taking advantage of Comic-Con to promote the crap out of the movie. Earlier in the week, the studio released a new poster featuring Lena Headey as Queen Gorgo, and on Wednesday, we got a poster featuring the man-god who killed her husband — Xerxes.

Rodrigo Santoro reprises the role that he made famous in 300, with it appearing that the character will actually do some fighting of his own. He also appears to a big fan of Crest Whitestrips.

300: Rise of an Empire stars Santoro, Headey, Eva Green and Sullivan Stapleton. It hits theaters on March 7, 2014. Head past the jump to check out the new poster of Xerxes.
