Disney Rolls Out Another Series of 'Frozen' Character Posters

Oh, Frozen, I just don't know what to think about you. After Wreck-It Ralph, Disney seemed to be back on track when it comes to delivering animated movies on par with what Pixar does. Let's be serious — Wreck-It Ralph should've won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and Brave only won because of the Pixar pedigree. I would love to think that Frozen would show that Disney is ready to continue in that direction and that maybe, just maybe, we're in store for another era of Disney greatness.

Everything I've seen from Frozen tells me otherwise, though. The first teaser for Frozen, set to hit theaters at Thanksgiving, focused on Josh Gad's snowman and looked like a desperate attempt to copy the Ice Age movies' rat-squirrel brand of humor. The first full trailer for Frozen had some pop song in it. Sure, tons of movies use pop songs these days, but they tend to invoke crap like The Smurfs instead of iconic classics like The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast.

Disney released another set of character posters for Frozen on Tuesday. While the first bunch covered pretty much the entire cast, this set of four highlights Gad's Olaf, Kristen Bell's Anna, Idina Menzel's Elsa, Santino Fontana's Hans, Jonathan Groff's Kristoff and Sven the reindeer.
