Spike Lee's Oldboy Remake Gets a New York Comic Con Poster Featuring Josh Brolin
If it wasn't already bad enough that Josh Brolin's character in Oldboy was imprisoned for 20 years, now someone went and cut a whole in his torso and put a tiny woman inside that space. At least that's what I think the New York Comic Con poster for Spike Lee's remake is trying to tell us.
Oldboy, which is a remake of the Park Chan-wook 2003 film by the same name, stars Brolin as a man who is kidnapped and imprisoned for 20 years. After suddenly being released, he begins a mission to find the person responsible for his pain.
Originally scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 25, Oldboy will now open on Nov. 27. In addition to Brolin, the movie stars Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley and Samuel L. Jackson.
