I love the sloppy 1980s vibe of American Hustle. The comb-overs, the man perms, the gaudy swimsuits — is there another film this year that feels like David O. Russell's next offering? The director not only is on a roll, but he's killing it with completely different movies. The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle don't feel anything like each other, which is impressive considering they share most of the same actors and actresses.
