TRAILER: Is 'Frozen' Really the 'Greatest Disney Animated Event Since The Lion King'?

Huge sigh of relief. I've been worried about Frozen, Disney's upcoming animated film. The promotional materials so far have been highly suspect, using pop songs and invoking Ice Age imagery. After the critical success of Wreck-It Ralph, was Disney going to take a step backwards?

I think everything is going to be OK. On Thursday, Disney released a new trailer for Frozen, and it makes it seem like a totally different movie. Not just a different movie, but a movie that we should be excited to see.

The trailer boasts that Frozen is the "greatest Disney animated event since The Lion King," which is quite the brag. If Frozen is the movie this trailer portrays it as, with classic Disney characters and songs written by the team behind Avenue Q and The Book of Mormon, Disney has something special here.

Frozen features the voice talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Santino Fontana, Josh Gad and Alan Tudyk. It opens on Nov. 27.
