Fox Journeys to 'Bordertown,' Seth MacFarlane's Next Animated Sitcom
Is Seth MacFarlane still the king of animated comedy? There was a time when he had Family Guy, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show on Fox, but with The Cleveland Show canceled and American Dad! wrapping up its Fox run (and headed to TBS), does the former Oscar host still have the pull at Fox that he once did?
Well, Fox announced on Friday that it had ordered Bordertown, the latest animated series from MacFarlane. The show will follow a border patrol agent and his family. No word yet if there'll be a talking animal, baby or alien of some kind, but I'd be shocked if there wasn't.
Bordertown will premiere for the 2014-15 television season. Honestly, I'm a bit tired of the MacFarlane animated sitcoms. Give me an episode of Bob's Burgers over Family Guy any day.
