AFI Announces Its Best Movies for 2013
Awards season continued on Monday, with AFI announcing its 2013 movies of the year. Across its ten honorees, I don't think any of them were really a surprise. The group's inclusion of Spike Jonze's Her once again boosted that film's Oscar chances. I'd have to guess that the Academy will include Lee Daniels' The Butler over on of these honorees though.
Here's the list of AFI's top movies of 2013:
American Hustle
Captain Phillips
Fruitvale Station
Gravity
Her
Inside Llewyn Davis
Nebraska
Saving Mr. Banks
12 Years a Slave
The Wolf of Wall Street
