Amanda Seyfried to Star in Will Ferrell-Produced 'He's F---ing Perfect'

It's hard to believe, but Will Ferrell doesn't spend all of his time promoting Anchorman 2: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. He still makes other movies. One of those movies will be He's F---ing Perfect, which Ferrell will produce along with Adam McKay. On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Amanda Seyfried had landed the lead role in He's F---ing Perfect. From THR:

Perfect is the story of one woman, pessimistic in love, who regularly uses the Internet to research the men her friends are dating, acting as a vetting device for them to weed out losers. Things take a turn when she gets a friend to dump a new guy in order to steal the man for herself, using her social media savvy to turn herself into his perfect match.

While Seyfried has had lead roles in movies like Mamma Mia!, Gone and Dear John, the actress has yet to headline a major comedy. Working with the duo of Ferrell and McKay should be just what Seyfried needs to finally jump to being a leading actress.
