Don Cheadle's War Machine Will Be in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'

Don Cheadle's War Machine will finally join up with the Avengers in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to a report by Bleeding Cool. After Cheadle's James Rhodes sat out the first Avengers movie, fans started wondering if the character would eventually be included in Marvel's team-up blockbusters, and now it seems like Iron Man won't be the only guy in a metal suit fighting Ultron.

This does raise a couple questions. While the Bleeding Cool report calls Cheadle's character War Machine, Iron Man 3 established that Rhodey's persona had been rebranded as Iron Patriot. Will Age of Ultron ditch the name and the red-white-and-blue armor to bring back the classic black-and-silver War Machine look? How will Age of Ultron manage yet another member on the Avengers team? The movie is already introducing Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson and the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver — is this one (or three) new characters too many?

We're only just now getting trailers and posters for the movies coming out in summer 2014. I guess we'll have to wait awhile to get some answers about The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
