Amanda Seyfried Replaces Mila Kunis as 'Ted' Sequel Female Lead
Mark Wahlberg's character may have spent most of Ted trying to prove to Mila Kunis' character that they belonged together, but it looks like he'll spend the sequel trying to woo a new woman. Deadline reported on Monday that Amanda Seyfried had been cast as the female lead in Ted 2, noting that "it looks like Mila Kunis will only appear in a tiny role, if at all, in the sequel."
According to Deadline, there was any falling out between Kunis and director Seth MacFarlane, as the actress will continue to voice Meg Griffin in Family Guy. Seyfried has recently worked with MacFarlane in A Million Ways to Die in the West — maybe that was enough to convince the MacFarlane that he wanted to see more of the actress.
