President Barack Obama Joins Zach Galifianakis on 'Between Two Ferns'
President Barack Obama made a kind of surprising appearance on Between Two Ferns, Zach Galifianakis' Web series to promote HealthCare.gov. Popculturology isn't in the business of political commentary, so we're going to be very brief on this one.
Obama comes across as kind of mean here, doesn't he? Between Two Ferns guests are usually at the mercy of Galifianakis' possibly offensive questions, but Obama was on the attack from the beginning. If you've watched any other Between Two Ferns installment, you know this episode doesn't fit the tone of the series. This is kind of like a celebrity going on Nickelodeon's Kid Choice Awards and sliming the audience while keeping himself dry.
All of that said, it's nice to know that Galifianakis has been shooting Between Two Ferns in the White House all this time thanks to getting permission from President George W. Bush.
