'I Did Not Kill My Wife': Ben Affleck Declares His Innocence in First 'Gone Girl' Trailer
The first trailer for Gone Girl has hit the Internet, and all I can hear in my head is Ben Affleck saying, "I did not kill my wife" ... but his The Town accent. Hopefully he uses that accent when he plays Batman. Maybe Zack Snyder's Gotham will be like our Boston.
Anyways, Gone Girl is the cinematic adaption of the popular novel by the same name written by Gillian Flynn. David Fincher directed the movie.
We learned last year that not only will the movie have a different ending than the book, but the new ending was written by Flynn herself. It'll be interesting to see how this changes the novel's major twist.
Gone Girl opens on Oct. 3. In addition to Affleck, the movie stars Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Emily Ratajkowski and Casey Wilson. Fincher has also reunited with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the musical team behind The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, for Gone Girl's score.
