New 'Big Hero 6' Trailer: Will Disney Animation's Hot Streak Continue?

A full-length trailer for Big Hero 6 hit the Internet on Tuesday, showing off the longest look yet at Walt Disney Animation Studios' next film.

Based on the Marvel Comics of the same name, Big Hero 6 is "an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion — a robot named Baymax — Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city."

The movies features the voice talents of Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, TJ Miller, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell and Alan Tudyk.

After the success of Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph and the mega-success of Frozen, Disney is on a hot streak right now. From the looks of this trailer, Big Hero 6 has the humor and warmth to continue that streak. With Pixar taking the year off, Big Hero 6 could have an easy path to a Best Animated Feature Oscar. (I'm still pulling for The Lego Movie, though.)

Big Hero 6 opens on Nov. 7.
