STAR WARS REBELS Season 2 Trailer and Poster Debut

A new Star Wars trailer debuted at Star Wars Celebration that caused fans of the franchise to go crazy. No, I'm not talking about the Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While that trailer did cause the Internet to melt down, a different trailer made its premiere on Saturday that delighted hardcore Star Wars fans — the one for Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels.



So not only is Star Wars Rebels bringing Ahsoka Tano back but the series is also reuniting her with Captain Rex, her Star Wars: The Clone Wars co-star. How great is that? Star Wars Rebels isn't an actually continuation of The Clone Wars, but I love seeing how the show is picking up the lose ends that were left when Disney ended The Clone Wars series.

And now we're throwing Darth Vader into the Rebels mix? Awesome. So awesome. I have a bad feeling about what's in store for Kanan in Season 2. Based on Star Wars' long history of Jedi losing limbs, it's not a good sign when Vader has Kanan's arms locked down while ready to strike with a lightsaber.

I can't wait to see the LEGO sets based on Star Wars Rebels — a new Vader, a new Ahsoka, the return of Rex.
