Christopher Lloyd Reprises BACK TO THE FUTURE Role for LEGO Dimensions Commercial

Where Doc Brown is going, he's going to need a ton of LEGO pieces. Christopher Lloyd reprised his Back to the Future role for a LEGO Dimensions commercial that debuted on Wednesday. Doc Brown will be available in one of the game's Fun Packs.



LEGO Dimensions is a new game coming from LEGO that will mesh the toy's classic bricks and minifigures with a videogame much like Disney Infinity. The game will bring together characters from properties like DC Comics, The Lego Movie, Back to the Future and Wizard of Oz. With LEGO already working with Warner Bros. on The Lego Movie, expect a ton of properties from that studio to appears in LEGO Dimensions.

The new Doc Brown minifig will be available in the set Fun Pack: Doc Brown (71230). It looks like this set will hit stores on Sept. 27 with the rest of the launch of LEGO Dimensions.

As someone who doesn't own any of the game systems that will play LEGO Dimensions, the small Fun Packs are perfect for me. I'm more than happy to spend $14.99 to get an exclusive or hard-to-find minifigure. Dropping a hundred bucks to get the main game is a different story.
