VANITY FAIR Confirms Gwendoline Christie Is Captain Phasma in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

After confirming that Adam Driver is playing Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Vanity Fair verified another all-but-confirmed rumor on Monday: Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie is playing Captain Phasma.

While the name Captain Phasma probably doesn't ring a bell for Star Wars fans (yet), they all saw her in the most recent The Force Awakens trailer when that awesome chrome-armored Stormtrooper strode down a hallway.

Vanity Fair reports that Phasma is a member of the First Order but asks "should we really assume that Christie’s Phasma is pure evil?" I dunno, Vanity Fair, should we?
