Fate of the Cold War Rests With Tom Hanks in BRIDGE OF SPIES Trailer

The last time Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks worked together, Saving Private Ryan earned 11 Oscar nominations and took home five Academy Awards. The duo have teamed up again for Bridge of Spies, a Cold War thriller.

With Spielberg directing, Hanks will play James B. Donovan, the lawyer charged with negotiating the release of Francis Gary Powers from the Soviet Union. The first trailer for Bridge of Spies was released on Friday.



Bridge of Spies stars Hanks, Mark Rylance, Amy Ryan, Alan Alda and Kevin Spacey. The movie will hit theaters on Oct. 16.
