After a report in April claimed that Star Trek Beyond was the title of the next movie in the franchise, we've pretty much been assuming the news was true. Lin's tweet is the first official confirmation for the title.
Star Trek Beyond opens on July 8, 2016. The movie stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Idris Elba, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Sofia Boutella.
