Tom Cruise and Company Go Rogue With New MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE — ROGUE NATION Posters

Tom Cruise and the rest of his IMF gang return to theaters this July in Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation. The fifth movie in the series will pit IMF against the Syndicate, a group that the first trailer for the movie refers to as the anti-IMF.

The Mission: Impossible Twitter account released six character posters from the movie on Wednesday. The posters feature Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Alec Baldwin as the head of the CIA, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell and Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn.

Now that we've seen how heavily Paramount Pictures is using ROGUE in the advertising campaign for this movie, it makes sense that the studio made a deal with Disney/Lucasfilm to hold off on promoting Star Wars Anthology: Rogue Nation until after the fifth Mission: Impossible is released.

Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation hits theaters on July 31.
