First JUNGLE BOOK Trailer Brings Classic Disney Film to Life

There are currently dueling live-action adaptions of The Jungle Book. Disney has Jon Favreau directing a version that's pretty much based off their animated classic, while Andy Serkis is working on his own take based on the original Rudyard Kipling novel.

The first trailer for Disney's The Jungle Book hit the Internet on Tuesday. Like pretty much every live-action adaption these days, the new Jungle Book movie looks like a darker take on its source material. That said, I'm not sure how dark a movie can be when you have Bill Murray voicing a singing bear.

Disney's The Jungle Book opens on April 15, 2016. The movie stars Neel Sethi as Mowgli, Murray as Baloo, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Idris Elba as Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Christopher Walken as King Louie, Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha, Giancarlo Esposito as Akela and Emjay Anthony as Grey Brother.
