Next James Bond Title Song: Sam Smith Has Recorded 'Writing's on the Wall' for SPECTRE
The previous James Bond title song won an Oscar and can still be heard playing on Muzak systems across America. Will Sam Smith be able to live up to high standards set by Adele's "Skyfall"? We'll find out when he releases "Writing's on the Wall," the title track for Spectre.
It was announced on Tuesday morning that Smith had recorded the title track for the next James Bond film, ending months of speculation that the "Stay With Me" singer had been picked for the task.

Smith joins a long list of artists who have recorded a Bond title track, including Shirley Bassey, Louis Armstrong, Nancy Sinatra, Carly Simon, Madonna and Tina Turner.
