Rachel McAdams Confirms That She's Starring in DOCTOR STRANGE

Insert a pun about Rachel McAdams' life getting strange now that she's joined the upcoming Doctor Strange movie here. Anyways, McAdams confirmed to TheWrap on Monday that she'll play the female lead in Doctor Strange.

There was a report in July that McAdams was being eyed for the Doctor Strange female lead, which could possibly be Clea, a sorceress originally trained by Stephen Strange and who eventually became his girlfriend. At the time, McAdams told the Los Angeles Times, "It's still super-early days, and I don't know where that's gonna go, if it's gonna go anywhere at all."

McAdams joins Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. Scott Derrickson is directing the movie, which is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
