'Green Lantern' WonderCon footage

In a previous post, I made some negative remarks about the upcoming Green Lantern movie. And, based on everything we had seen so far, the movie did look pretty iffy. Basically a movie about a Ryan Reynolds superhero instead of a movie with Ryan Reynolds playing a superhero (yes, there's a difference).

Well, based on this footage from WonderCon, it looks like Green Lantern may have some promise after all. Obviously it's easy to make a movie look great with a four-minute cut, but if the final film is anything like this preview, we just might have an epic superhero movie waiting for us this summer.



I wouldn't be surprised if Warner Bros. realized that the jokey trailer they released a few months ago didn't introduce their newest franchise well. Usually the only way fans can see convention footage online is through unofficial channels.
